WEST COAST PIRATES NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......
good initiative the battle of the clubs thing. Cronulla signed up 750 in a week, not bad considering they only had just over 2000!

http://www.nrl.com/membership/tabid/10691/default.aspx latest membership numbers with most clubs certain to eclipse last year with them already at 90% of last years total
the battle the beaches is a fantastic concept with 5000 memberships sold across 3 clubs
next weeks battle of the legends will pull in massive numbers as most of the popular sydney clubs go head to head
well done gallop yet again youve pulled out a great idea

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/ ... 6003329379 nrl expects membership to hit 180,000, generating $30 million revenue for our clubs
every sydney club is up 50% on the same time last year except dogs who are up around 2000 on last years numbers, which were large anyway
i remember when we had total memberships at around 100,000 so this membership drive has been a massive win for the nrl

In the actual paper today there was a chart showing as at Feb 3, every club was ahead of where they were last year, bar the Cowboys.

even your club, traditionally a poor one in members has booming sales
we must have all sydney clubs having a minimum of 10,000 TICKETED members
souths are setting the benchmark for the rest to follow
this has got to become part of the culture of RL
season ticket holders are the lifeblood of the sport

there are 3 packages.
1. both stadiums
2. kogarah
3. win
tigers do the same so you can buy just the games at leichardt, campbelltown etc
quite a few sydney based fans drive down to wollongong, but not many of theirs come up to kogarah
essentially its still 2 separate fan bases
my friends were told at wollongong not to chant st george cause it upsets the locals, only dragons.
