Just what qualities do you need to be a winger anyway?

Ultimate finisher, he must have missed the way he put Gidley, Gardner and Wellens on their ar(se

Wow. I might have to change my opinion on Kevin Penny after watching the highlights.

Two run ins to the corner and outpacing the Salford backline from a set move.

Warrington do not need Gleeson, King, Monaghan, Briers or Morley next year. Kevin Penny can do it himself.

His speed is not in question, nor is his finishing ability. However, let's see his overall game. His kick returns, his defence, his positional play and his tackling, especially against big teams.

From what I've seen, he looks a one dimensional quick player with the potential to become an Anthony Sullivan like player. Now, that is a great feat in itself, but he hardly looks a saviour of British rugby league.

He is as good at defending as any other winger was at 19, we seen on Friday that even players like Gardner make mistakes, Penny has been pretty solid so far.

Did I miss the bit where he was lauded as the saviour of British Rugby League, or are you just wanting to court controversy?
