This side without the Burgii, Graham and Hodgeson is not doing better.

Agree, our pack hasn't stood up at all. Some decent defence here and there but largely average. Hodgson has done nothing.

Because we never address the underlining issues, Australia simply have a bigger player pool across the board, and more home ground player in there top league.

I think this a valid point. This is why I think Bennett will look at Aussie players in the NRL who qualify for England.

On a wider scale let's look at the Aussie squad. People like cherry Evans and Ben barba can't get anywhere near the national side. They just produce much better players.
