Doubt everything, even this

They won the league, which is far harder to do and is something that in itself means alot more than winning the grand final trophy, however as it got us promoted it was more important to win, doenst mean that winning the league isnt harder and more of an achievment, even if the rewards for us winning the final were greater.

No. They topped the league after the regular season. And got a meaningless league leaders trophy as a result. We won the league by winning the GF and were crowned champions (plus getting a nice promotion as well).

Topping the league after (essentially) the qualifying rounds may be harder to do (in your opinion) but it doesn't mean more than winning the actual competition – which is decided by the grand final.

im sure we have this thread every year, im certain we had it last year, when HKR and Wakefield were riding high in the league, only to fall away and the league to take on a familiar shape

some clubs train to peak earlier, so they are a few weeks ahead of everyone else in terms of fitness and readiness so we generally see a few 'shock' results with teams who arent expected to to challenge like hull kr, picking up a few wins against teams who will be peaking later like Sts, then as saints improve, hkr will start to tire and the results will become more and more predictable until around easter time when the big clubs will be in their groove and the smaller clubs are losing ground

it always happens

Oh no. They've had many missing links on their books.

I think we are going to have to agree to disagree on this one, for me toping the table is winning the league, winning the grand final is just that winning the grand final.

For me thorman has always had the potential to be quite a good half, but could have been coached better and was played out of position to often.
