I didn't ' lose it ' as you put it , I resigned it , I still have a shareholding and have been asked to take my position back on the board several times

As for lack of ' business acumen ' , what does that mean exactly in this context , Do you mean was I willing to lose my home and family for the sake of Leigh Centurions ?

If that is the case then the answer is no , I wasn't

I choose not to disclose personal details about my involvement and ownership within the sport to an anonymous message board. That would be naive, unprofessional and open myself up to accusations of impropriaty.

I do question what you meant by it just being a sport though. Surely business and sport are intertwined these days.
