WELSH RUGBY LEAGUE - PRIDE & PASSION IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY

Do they seem to get on fine ?

Love the way you totally dodged the last questions too.

25 years is way long enough, given the fact there are lots of other grounds in South Wales that are adequate as well as, in my opinion, there will be a ground in Bridgend by then.

People at the club are happy about this as in an old ground like BF it takes a lot of money to keep it in some kind of fit state never mind improve it. The group who have come in are talking of doing just that. Improved stadium with better pitch and not paying a penny out of our own coffers. Good business whatever way you look at it.

Starbug, I'm off to bed now me old mucka.

I'd just like to congratulate you and nominate you for the end of season awards on what has to be one of the most p!ss poor attempts at trolling/poop stirring I have ever witnessed on these boards.

You should have left it at the title or better still just leave posting anything of this calibre again please and save all of our time.

25 years is long enough but irrelevant as the Crusaders only have an agreement to play for 5 years at the Brewery.

And nowhere has it stated what rent the Crusaders may or may not have to pay. The only rent talked about in all the articles is the rent paid by The Brewery Field to the council.

This is history. This is history. Right here. Right now. This is history.

I thought it was Widnes?
All games are winnable, whats hard to understand about that.

Wakefield turn over a big club every season and i see no reason why Widnes can't do the same.
Don't know what the issue is here. If it means wading through a couple of grounds a la London to find a decent home then so be it.

The new Swansea stadium looks a cracker.

The only concern here is the WRU's involvement in the deal, through their funding of Bridgend Ravens' share of the deal.

Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

To deviate slightly, I've a strong suspicion that with a long term economic depression now well in sight, the ground standards part of any SL franchise bid will be quietly dropped.

Some might look at this as being harsh but I think it's fair. When are the Rugby League going to stop persisting with this fantasy expansion. If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.

Cant be arsed try the Celtic site

All seems very strange

And this is no dig at any club in particular

Saints , taking a long time to knock the old factory down

The factory has been demolished and Phase 1 work complete
Phase 2 work starts back end of April/May when leases run out at warehouses and tennants are relocated.
At this point further site clearance will take place.
Phase 3 eg building the stadium is scheduuled to start late summer early autumn.
