Your post was about CC attendances.

And it remains so. You lose the plot so quickly these days.

It clearly did work, just as it worked for the attendances during the RLWC.

Ferocious Aardvark wrote:
It is actually from the Latin

Did Adeybull tell you to say that?

Pity you didn't attend a decent school.

The 2 teams with the highest average attendance in the country being away at 2 of the smallest capacity grounds probably didn't help.

So both grounds were full to capacity?

My favourite was the league table showing each SL club’s % increase / decrease on the previous year.

I even got mildly excited when my club was vying for top spot with only a couple of rounds to go, until that is, it came to light the club was over egging the figures & giving freebies away, presumably to compliment the cut price ST’s – strangely the club nearly went bust.

Now we just get long threads with derogatory titles like “The Mad Dr”, yet ironically, I would have thought Salford would be cruising the attendance increase league right now.

More like no one bothered to comment on the previous update which is a perfectly valid reason to 'lose enthusiasm' for such a task given that I did it in the first place to provoke discussion. Typical of rugby league fans that they are only interested when there is something negative to moan about.

Check your PM's.

You are right about Salford this season. They will walk the Attendance League Table this season.

On the subject of Koukash, the RL constituency do not like outsiders... do not trust outsiders... do not welcome outsiders. He is regarded as a threat and will never be considered a member of that constituency, hence the sheer scale of the derogatory remarks aimed in his direction. Sundry members of the RL community wouldn't look out of place at a UKIP or EDL rally.

Cheers for them.

Good effort from the top five, I expected Salford’s with all the hype, but Cas are going really well, so are HKR.

The bottom group is understandable, however, the current C.C & S.L winners appears poor considering last year’s achievements :? .

Hull KR's attendances are inflated by a load of freebies for the Leeds game in Round 1 along with offers of Red Army Challenge £10 adult and £1 junior ticket offers. That game alone accounts for almost all of their total attendance increase. Castleford's attendance increase is more positive and genuine.

Wigan's attendances are of far more concern. Down by 9.34% last year and currently down by 7.40% this year despite achieving the double! Warrington's aren't too flash either... 7.15% down last year and 4.93% down this year.

I may have to amend the CC attendances. League Express is reporting an attendance of 5,566 for the Hudds/Saints cup game yesterday instead of the 7,150 figure reported elsewhere.
