But the original statement picked up on and countered didn't use the phrases 'top level' or 'major' which have subsequently been included and so was in fact correct.

They probably will but then Fev will not be getting the players who can't get into the first team, they will get the players who don't make the A team.

I don't think they'd be allowed in though - would that be a reprieve for London?

On what grounds?

If Fev manage to beat Toulouse and Toronto (yes, it's long odds against), they'll be in SL next year. There really isn't any feasible objection that could be made.

Doubt that. I reckon they'll rather see young players play week in, week out in a properly coached and structured side rather than in a mix and match of ever changing players going through rehab, having been dropped etc. against another side of similar composition. Hetherington never wanted reserves, I doubt he's minded to embrace the idea now.
