KR should never have gone for the 2 points. It's been the turning point, along with the introduction of Minchella

Suppose it's the 2 points that matter and they took them. We could/should gave won but no arguments the team gave 100%. FC are not as good as they thought and we aren't as bad as many thought. Good game imo

In a way I was happier with that than the Leeds performance. You can't be at your best every week but we showed real toughness and ground out a result. Last year we would have lost that imo, we would have caved to some very good rugby from Rovers.

Based on that you have a lot to be encouraged about. I thought your boys were very good.

back in the mists of time we did it without the ref giving a decision, seemed to work ok.

however to be fair we'll benefit from a few as the season progresses as well

To sum the game up, rovers played pretty well and scored an absolute worldy but a couple of bad lapses in defence cost them dear. we were not at our best but as with teams who have ambitions at the top of the league we found a way to win. Man of the match griffin, but tevita satae gave hull the extra impetus they needed at just the right time - excellent go forward.

both teams have plenty to look forward to
