No-ones saying it is. But I can't remember a club chairman doing so, certainly not in so high profile a manner. No one is saying its a big fuss either. Neither is Dr Koukash as he's accepted (ie isn't appealing) the fine.
He did something silly, he's been fined. That's the end of it.
But some Salford fans appear to think he's being singled out by the RFL.

You've seen the posts from non-Salford fans saying they think it's all a bit silly, too, right?

Him wrote:
Then don't pretend people are "against" Salford or hoping it'll fail. All most people on this forum have done is use reasonable points to counter some points put forward by some Salford fans.

The top 6/top 4 thing being a good example. It's plainly obvious Salford don't have a top 6 and certainly not a top 4 team. Some Salford fans have, for some reason, taken that as criticism and "wanting Salford to fail" rather than just looking at the Salford team and saying it's not as strong as other teams.

There's been a number of posts both in this forum and on the Scarlet Turkey suggesting people would love to see it all fall flat. If you're interested enough, you could have a look through them all.

All seems above board to me and any stability that she can bring to Bradford is a bonus. Having two businessmen with her obviously makes it looks less like a plot from Marwan. I hope that the businessmen are local, have seen her interest and get involved too.

Can't see any way in which the RFL can stop this.

I hope the businessmen aren't local, I think the club would do well to steer clear of local businessmen.

2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!

So has anyone heard from Mandy Koukash yet and what her plans are for Bradford Bulls. Scoured the press but it seems MarwanK is posing as her official spokesperson, not one word/quote from Mandy anywhere

The Electrician says that he is in love with Super League and that is why he is desperate to have a second club. I cannot wait for the real motive to come out.

Not really but then I've not looked through the whole thread. Either way, the issue is that Dr Koukash used the f-word at a press event. Do you think that's acceptable and shouldn't be challenged by the RFL?
Would you think it acceptable for a coach to use the same word in a post match press conference and not be fined?

Why would I? It was YOU who suggested 95% of this forum want to see it fail. I've not seen that quantity of posts like that. In fact the only one I've seen on here has been from Roofs.

Like the other Salford fans, you're mistaking criticism and not agreeing with Salford being the next 90's Wigan as wanting Salford to fail.
In the same way as thinking the RFL fining a club official for inappropriate behaviour as victimisation.

The local bradford reporter who has spoken to the Koucashs today said on Twitter in responce to almost this exact question that the Dr had told him his wife was "publicity shy" - Not a problem normally for an owner as long as they have someone else to do the talking (how many times do you hear from Caddick at Leeds directly?) but its something that is put into stark relief when you're married to the Dr I'd guess. Both are planning to attend Odsal on Sunday apparently.

He has been pretty clear about it. Its to stop the game being held back by cut-price frozen food salesmen.

Where has he said this? He wont have a second club, his wife will own the other. The motives behind his encouragement to this arent exactly rocket science though are they, another vote at any other proposals he puts forward whilst saving one of the most well known clubs in the game.
