Some might look at this as being harsh but I think it's fair. When are the Rugby League going to stop persisting with this fantasy expansion. If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.

Toulouse are "nailed on" for a SL spot
Not if they don't get to a Grand Final. Which I maintain will not be a problem for them.

There maybe some small minded and spiteful fans of the lesser English M62 clubs, who would like to ridicule Les Catalans performance today.

Any honest fans will recognise that Les Catalans were badly understrength today. They were missing their star playmakers and several international forwards. In particular the injured players (3 Australian, 3 French) were:

Greg Bird
Thomas Bosc
Adam Mogg
Jason Ryles
Cyrille Gossard
Sebastien Raguin

Had the positions been reversed, and Hull KR were without Dobson, Cooke, Vella, and three other regulars, while Les Catalans were full strength, no doubt that the scoreline would have been reversed.

Really? Your own comments about Catalans and their coach this season suggest perhaps not.

Not so. The coach and the club have picked up in the last three weeks.

Assuming Bosc, Bird, Ferriol and Ryles can remain uninjured for most games, the team will certainly make the top eight and possibly the top three.

But, had you had your way, he'd have been out on his arse three week ago. Lucky for them that you aren't in a position to make those decisions. Maybe you should go to some games rather than commenting on them from in front of your PC and sat on your swivel chair
