They sound like they've been royally hustled. The oil industry is certainly volatile - but we've known the Saudis have been deliberately tanking oil prices for geopolitical reasons for some time. Volatility infers frequent fluctuations but oil has been going down, down and DOWN for ages.

The draughts/chess analogy was made years ago by jim telfer (SRU) aimed in a derogatory way towards league.

Its only the last couple of years he pronounces Hull with a H. I usually find his comments on the games well balanced and respected, think he likes winding up Robbie Paul though.
