Totally underwhelmed with Salfords signings for next season. Given who they have lost and brought in, definitely gone backwards.

Warrington have a decent spine but their back line is still bang average. Need a top class centre and a new prop.

Wigan have definitely strengthened. If I were them I would throw Harry Smith in at the deep end with Hastings. But again, even with duckfingers Burgess their pack is still lacking a bit.

If Hull's signings all gel, they could be dark horses.

As for us, we dont need to really sign anyone as we have some more top class youngsters waiting in the wings. Lewis Dodd will be englands number 7 for years and Josh Simm will be the first world class centre produced by England since Paul Newlove and Keith Senior

The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

I think saints will sign another prop we don't have any Graham type player coming through the academy but we expect Matty Lees to get better. Batchelor and Bentley for second rows the latter very much a Bateman type of player. Josh Eaves will be challenging Aron Smith for Roby's shirt, Jack Welsby could be international class but Lewis Dodd and Josh Simms will probably feature 2021 and they really are excellent prospects.

Luke Douglas and Ryan Morgan are out of the team contract wise and wish them well, successful teams usually have a bit of stability and it seems Saints are in that period at the moment hence not needing to get new players in wholesale.

You have a fantastic player in Batchelor, although not quite as good as his brother :thumb:

I actually think once again Watson has made some very smart signings for next season.

"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.

I must admit I have been sceptical about his ability in the past but Powell has a great track record with halfbacks and I am sure his career will flourish with Cas as did Gales.

I'd dispute that slightly, outside of trueman and gale, it's been something of a merry go round under his umbrella for a 2nd half back partner.

Sneyd and finn both good in 2014. Roberts and Gale pretty good 2015 and 2017. Injuries hace crippled us 2018 and especially 2019 with half backs.

Richardson and Trueman partnership does give optimism though.

I'm not sure your point is valid mate as the RL Fans oracle is apparently "underwhelmed". :D

I think I should cancel my season ticket and withdraw my supporters sponsorship package on the back of this revelation. :(
