True but that is to an extent balanced out by him being one of the best try scoring props (if not the best).

We were never in the runnig for him - I can confirm that. We have three of the best centres in the league.

I see Saints have signed a young English international. interesting. Shows you can indeed sign young English players.

Wigan are paying their antipodean army more than Shenton's getting too. Saints however don't see the point of destroying English RL by signing only NRL players. Doing it for the good of the sport, which is frankly good to see.
