True. However the same applies in the opposite direction.

It is typical of certain fans from certain clubs along with certain members of the UK media to bull certain players up well before they have done enough to deserve it. At the moment he has done nowhere near enough.

I have no opinion on Penny other than he clearly has pace and is very sensitive to the colour of his skin. As someone else has eluded it's best to wait a while to see if the fuss is justified. I suspect it isn't but we shall see.

Khattabi had Penny well covered. It was the scrum base kick from Briers which caught the entire Catalans defence unawares, and gave Kevin Penny an open run to the line. Khattabi can't be faulted. Any attacking winger could have scored that try from a cunning and well placed kick by the half from the scrum base.
