As an 'outsider' do you think that growth or mere attendance figures should be considered when allocating the next round of franchises?

Now that you have stopped trying to both insult and cast aspersions against me I will once again contribute to the discussion

I think we should have promotion and relegation decided on the field of play

Personnaly I couldn't give a stuff about stadia,attendances or any other criteria , as long as everybody is playing to the same set of rules then I am happy

It is after all a sport , or at least that's where you will find it in the media

I had no intent to insult you if you took me challenging your old school attitude to sport management as an insult i apologise.

I like your idea that on the field of play is always equal. Whilst a brave and noble objective off field activities determine what happens on the field does it not? Perhaps this lack of understanding was another reason for your 'resignation'.

I see you raise your paranoid assumption about the RFL not using equal criteria again. A favoured soapbox if I recall.

I think the jury's out on this one. Only after a few rounds of franchise applications can we truly assess whether the RFL are using the criteria fairly or whether it's a means of selecting whoever they want to kick out or bring in. I know people harp on about it not mattering about good attendances but i think a full house always shows the game in a good light so on that basis (as well as on the field strength) that would be my main "get into Super League card". I know - it's not very practical, especially for getting a young club such as Celtic into SL but there you go - just my opinion.
