I take it you were there then?

I was.

Let me tell you that THREE players were involved and they are on CCTV.

Also another player is on CCTV doing something which should see him
get a ban if not for life at least for a couple of years.

Don't ask me because I can't say what it is while it is under investigation,
but when/if it comes out you'll know exactly what I mean.

You will know then the intentions of at least one of those players ?

The one who went into the crowd to ensure that his wife and baby were safe ?

Nothing is ever black and white, nor should anyone jump to conclusions without hearing all of the points of view, something that is not going to happen here.

There was actually less stewards per supporter at last nights game

Thats not the point though is it, the point is that if there were less stewards per supporter last night and something HAD kicked off then those stewards would have been even less able to contain the problem.

Having demonstrated their inability to control an aggresive situation within a small crowd once I would have thought that they may have increased security rather than decreased it ?

Not really. From what I can see, it's just a simple case of the game being abandoned after a certain time so the result stands according to the laws of the game rather than Queens being kicked out for fighting.

It got Rovers into trouble a couple of years ago.

There is more intelligence of known and potential trouble causers for
football matches. Contigencey plans can then be put place so the Police
and security can deal with any incidents that might occur. For a stadium
the size of the Keepmoat this could cost up to £10,000 per game.

Not many SL clubs could manage that never mind Doncaster.

There has never been any trouble at Doncaster like this before and I
hope I never see anything like this again.

There is no reason to even expect trouble like this from RL supporters.
You could probably count on one hand the amount of times a RL game
has been abandoned because of crowd trouble since 1895.

It was a sad day for RL not just Doncaster. :(

Yes, I had heard that, but it's on CCTV anyway so they'll know what
occured.

I still think you are playing Devil's advocate.

We'll wait for the inquiry conclusions. I'll leave it at that.

I meant it in the sense that the stupidity of their supporters in getting the game abandoned means that they lost the chance of winning which effectively means that the fighting lost them the chance to progress

Why should Doni need the stewards anyway surly Doni could not see any trouble because end of the day Queens are only a pub team. only people who have Played against Queens can tell you how bad this bunch thugs are.
Glad they lost game the next step is kick these morans out of Barla and rugby league for good.

I can work out for myself that their was trouble in the crowd but I have no idea of what actually happened.
Surely an amateur club doesn't have that many fans and it would have to be a fair set to for a game to be abandoned?!
