6,000 on a Thursday night and the kick-off delayed. How on earth did that happen ? Was there just one turnstile open ?

There was an accident on the M62 and I understand the police police asked the stadium to delay kick off as there were clearly a lot of people trying to get there. Hardly anything you can legislate for and certainly not the fault of the Salford club.

Why would the police ask them to delay the kickoff? It would hardly help to relieve congestion, would it?

Again heresay, but to avoid drivers taking unnecessary risks in the vicinity of the accident by giving them a bit of extra time?

Just suspicious after the first home game where kick off was also delayed for a 60% full stadium.

The access and cash turnstile issues need to be resolved over the season.
