Somebody should write a book about the 21c phenomena of professional offence and outrage, which the explosion of social media has so greatly amplified.
The OP is a standard example. He wants to be the first to be the first to seize on a throwaway comment as in fact evidence that a public figure made a racist comment, and so must be racist, and how dreadful it all is, and calls on all the righteous to immediately rise up in a shitstorm of condemnation. the OP craves validation that he was right, and was the first to call it, and expects affirmation that yea verily he is the right-on Oracle of PC.
It is also typical in another way, and that is, the selection of a ridiculous target, because the OP doesn't have the intelligence to actually understand the issue.
Sad, really, but now endemic.
