The try by Joshua Hodgson showed the wisdom of Wayne Bennett's selection of the Canberra hooker.

People need to stop the Wayne Bennett bashing. The former policeman is in the Clint Eastwood mould, and he certainly knows what he is doing.

If the St Helens stars Thomas Makinson and Mark Percival, and the Catalans wizard Samuel Tomkins, had been playing, and Wigan's Oliver Gildart as well, the result may well have been very different.

On the other hand a team which contains Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Benjamin Marshall, and an in form Shaun Johnson, is hard to beat.

Defensively we're solid, we just don't have enough power, pace a guile to be effective in attack.
