I couldn't believe it was given tbh. If a part of that ball was on the ground it must have been fatter than a beach ball.

No harm done in the end, and we will no doubt get bad decisions go our way as the season goes on, but I just don't understand how anyone can look at that and think it's a try.

Also couldn't understand why they didn't stop looking at the No Try before half time earlier than they did. Inside man was offside from the kick and within 10m of Shaul

I thought the kicker had perhaps ran back ahead of the chaser (Ellis?) and played him onside tbh. But I was surprised they didn't seem to take a very close look at it. Considering the way they often take an age to look at easy decisions, they just brushed over that one.

I can only surmise the video ref could only go with the on field decision as a hand covered the viewing, poor decision but he thankful it wasn't detrimental

You do make me giggle Craig.

To win a derby after only effectively one training session is a good result IMO.So we may not have played our best but certainly tonight doesn't show us at our best, but to win in maybe second third gear is pleasing. I don't respect Rovers squad on paper but I do Tony Smith and he will leave Rovers in a much better position then he found it in and will get your team playing to a gameplan that suits them. I think you will survive.
