You could no doubt say the same if Toronto pushed on to sign Tuilangi. His injury record isn’t great and it’s a trend that could continue if he signed over the pond.

Bit of an understatement mate, nearly a decade of playing and only 125 club games, if memory serves he's missed around 3 seasons with injuries. Owen Farrell debited a bit after after him and has played about 70 more Club games and about 30 more England games, that's some serious game time sat in the stand.

Yeah which for me highlights further what a risk it would be throwing a large packet of Canadian dilly dong dollars at him.
Would do wonders for publicity don’t get me wrong and he is a real quality player, when he plays that is.

I am sad to report that the talented Toulouse and France national centre and winger, 24 year old Martinique born Gavin Marguerite, will be leaving Toulouse. Contract negotiations have broken down.

Any Championship or even Super League club that signs Marguerite now should be well served by this exciting talent. Unfortunately his 2019 season at Toulouse was interrupted by injuries. He played only 12 games but scored 7 tries in those games.

If South Sydney can get salary cap dispensation for Sam Burgess I wouldn't rule out them also having a try.

That was the question I was asking. But I have no answer. The breakdown of negotiations was only announced earlier today. Maybe Gavin wanted to stay but was asking for more money than Toulouse could offer. Anyway as far as I know he has no other offers yet.

Souths may, and Latrell Mitchell's father -- a former South Sydney player -- would be very happy if they did sign him. Russell Crowe would also be delighted to get one back at the expense of the hated Sydney Roosters (who signed Souths star back rower Angus Chrichton last year, a couple of years after they signed Souths star half Luke Keary, who had had a falling out with Crowe).
