Saints and Hudds have been linked with him for a while. He's a Leeds lad so maybe he fancies a move closer to home.

Been a very strong rumour that he's coming to us for months now. Our 'expected' 2013 signings are Broughton and Bailey from London.

Brian Noble, on BBC Radio Thursday night, confirmed Broughton to Huddersfield was signed months ago.

Hull FC to announce signings of "an international union winger," and "a Polynesian forward" next week. Tom Biggs and Kane Evans are the names being touted.

Evans would be a really good signing, although he is Melanesian rather than Polynesian. Never heard of Tom Biggs.

Plays for Bath and plays in the England 7s side. I don't know much about him myself but he seems quite well regarded. He is Hull born too.

Apparently Pearson mentioned the Polynesian thing at the awards dinner. It's not forced to be Evans, just that his name has been doing the rounds for a while.
