Nope....in fact, he performed miracles at London on a shoestring budget. No big name players signed, but a few sold on (mainly to wigan).

There's an anti-intellectual streak a mile wide running through RL these days. I've lost count of the number of times intelligent and articulate former players (such as Cullen, Phil Clarke & now Jon Wilkin) are labeled 'big-heads' (etc.) by the oafs.

Tragic.
