I know he's originally from Higher Fold but not sure if he's actually a Leigh supporter or not - Will Travis, I think? I used to go to school with his nephew.

In fact, the only 'proper' fan I can tell out of these (ie not paid to attend games etc) is Nicky Barmby.

Yes, Barmby was interviewed on Football Focus a few years ago and talked about watching the likes of Steve Norton, Peter Sterling and Lee Crooks when he was growing up.

Still goes when his Hull City commitments allow, I think he takes his young lads.
