Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?

I've got to say I never quite saw what Hudgell/Hull KR saw in Chester when they appointed him. And if HKR weren't willing to play the long game and give him several seasons it seems a bit of a waste of time to be honest.

It also makes you wonder whether Peacock may have had any influence in the decision to sack Chester. Whatever reason the timing does seem odd.

That did seem to be the motive at the time. Though it seems another wasted opportunity, if the board didn't think he was the man now, to let him have pre-season with the players rather than whoever the new coach will be.

Hull KR cannot win against top 8 contenders without their star signings -- Campese, Kelly, Sio, Boudebza, and Lunt --- all in the active playing squad. You could have Wayne Bennett as coach and it still would not matter if the above mentioned players are not playing. Kelly and Campese are the most crucial ones.

Neil Hudgell needs to understand that whoever inherits Christopher Chester's position will face the same problems and get the same results as Mr Chester if the first choice players are unavailable. There just isn't the strength in depth at the club.

Surely it can only be a player from Catalans. Probably the best RL side I have ever witnessed in this season's comp.

So you are saying there is no point having a coach? It all depends on the playing staff? I remember a time when Saints were in red hot form and were taken apart by a wigan team that consisted of quite a few academy players including Kevin Brown and Luke Robinson

TL:DR Jean once again shows he knows nothing about sport and was funnier when he posted as Barry Mackenzie

No that is not what I am saying. What I am saying is that while you need a good coach there is a limit to what any coach can do when the number of top quality players at the club is limited, and if these top quality players are injured.

Pinning hopes on Campese (who is widely rumoured to be broken beyond repair) and an already bored Albert Kelly are foolish.

Their off season recruitment was pretty bizarre considering the small packsize and the entire fanbase wanting props. They also binned off 95% of their youth and went with a 27man squad for 2016. Insanity when one player is a long term crock and Lunt is as robust as a wet breadstick.

Then there was the misguided idea not to have a pre-season training camp but to send the entire team on community service cleaning old peoples gutters, gardening and doing the odd spot of litter picking - preparing Adam Walker, perhaps?

I'd be more worried about having no players to select from simply because of poor management.
