Agreed, they will probably win enough home games to finish above Hull KR or Salford. Although I do mean probably, it's not going to be easy for them avoiding relegation with regards to their defence, and 'offloading the ball' at every given opportunity. Someone needs to remind miserable Brian, thery're not in League One anymore.

Instead of promoting the winner from the championship maybe the should of played the relegated team and then the winner would of proved it was worthy of promotion before showing performances like last night. It's sad when they want to bring expansion in but allow the best team in ages to drop back down

Mac out!

When you listen to Robinson the Roosters coach after the WCC and his detailed analysis and then listen to Mcdermott they are just worlds apart. Mac was poor at London, got lucky with a great squad at Leeds but couldn't rebuild them when the big names retired/left and now is showing his colours again in Canada.

Questions have to be asked about who put their squad together and who thought that 24 players, with no reserve or academy to fall back on, would see them through the season. Maybe that was all down to Noble and is the reason he's gone but, it's just not good enough.
Maybe, after outspending all of their competition last season and gaining promotion, they actually thought that they were the dogs whatsits

The bigger issue on how to ensure that promoted clubs are ready for SL may also need looking at, although, in fairness to London last season, they competed pretty well, even taking account of the two "gimmies" against Saints.

The abject failure to get up to speed by Toronto just further increases the massive respect I have for London last year. Astonishing just how well they adjusted on promotion. Toronto appear to have literally not moved on a step from Championship rugby. Featherstone would be getting much the same sort of results if not better. They and other top championship sides would not be bent over by that degree at Leeds. Its just odd.

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs, the people that came in. They're eating the cats! They're eating the pets!

I only had one eye on the game, with the Tyson Fury documentary taking president, but wow Leeds scored some fantastic try's.

They reminded me of the Leeds team in their pomp & all I could think was, has normal service been resumed?

You're not thinking straight Budgie.... you're letting your heart rule head there by wanting your local derby with Salford back so much.

Saying that.... wouldn't surprise me if Salford are the first to lose to the Wolfpack, it wouldn't be the first time we've bombed against the whipping boys.

Surprised me last night how out of shape Wilkin has got.

Toronto look shocking in defence and very predictable in attack.

I thought they were very unpredictable in attack - I don’t think anyone expected them to play hot potato with the ball 10m from their own line.

Unfortunatley they will win some home games when sides decide to rest players because they are happy with their league position or are looking at bigger games the following week and do not want star players travelling across the world . When will some one realise there are not enough quality players around to make up a team so far away with no Academy to bring players through . Wilkin and others such as Noble did will say all the right things (for Toronto's point of view) but in all honesty are just there to take the money. As for bringing other teams in from that part of the world , Forget it please
