After saying that, Leigh have gone beyond all expectations so far. So, from this Leigh fan, I couldn't ask for more than what we have achieved so far at this point.

It isnt beyond the realms of impossibilty.

However according to some you will not win anything who is 110% certain,I think you have a good chance with the CC.

That would be some party in Leigh when your town (fans) get back from London that is.

I expected you to survive this time but you must all be in Dreamland after this season.



An all Wigan final at Wembley

I'm not sure how Saints fans still think they are head and shoulders above everyone else. A quick look at the League table and their results from this year show how open the competition is. I personally think a corner has been turned on Saints' reign, and we will see them decline again over next couple of seasons.



I also think a lot of people are doing Leigh a disservice. They aren't your usual newly promoted team who would look like a rabbit in headlights when the pressure is on. They have built a team full of experienced players, with a number of experienced Grand Final and Challenge Cup winning players. Some multiple times.

It won't be Leeds taking over from us though will it

I never insinuated they would.

The goal this season for Leigh is to avoid relegation, this we have done halfway through the season.



What a great season for us

Indeed. I keep asking Derek on Twitter how it is going in terms of sustainabililty. A lot of investment has obviously gone into the squad and the matchday experience and upgrading a lot of other things like the coaching and training. My big concern for Leigh, other than raids from the NRL for the star overseas players (Who are all sensational) is finances. Has the rebrand and the extra few thousand on the gate made it work this time or are the club burning cash and this is going to be short lived?

It's great to see Leigh doing so well, always had a lot of time for them as they have a great bunch of supporters.

Nice to see a different team mixing it with the big boys too, I would love to see them win the GF.

There is only one team that saints fans think St Helen’s are head and shoulders above and that’s Leeds and their 9 away fans. As a Leeds fan you can try and argue it but you will be wrong. In fact, I’m looking forward to your retort about how Leeds, who haven’t won a trophy for years, who struggle to fill a12 seater coach for away games and who’s players want to leave are shoulder height with St Helens. Go on. Try and argue it lmao
