Cardiff for me !

just for its location in the heart of the City Centre as opposed to Wembley which is part of an industrial estate way out of the centre of London.
The atmosphere at Cardiff has, in my opinion, far surpassed anything i witnessed at Wembley - including beating Man Utd there

double header @ eastlands then?

Not sure they'd be happy about that, they only have so many "none football" events each year, thinks its a clause in the planning consent. It was a reason given for not staging another tri Nations game there.

Elland Road isn't much smaller, but its a doss hole

Wembley. The stadium itself is about a bazillion times better than the Millenium stadium. The RFL really needs to make more of the area around it though. Tons more stalls for food, drinking tents etc etc. Also the fact that there aren't any pubs near by shouldnt be a reason to not hand a cup final to a certain ground. Not that there aren't tons of pubs in London anyway that aren't that far away by tube

There's no reason why they couldnt have a mass of those Mobile Bars and the like brought in and placed on the walk way around the stadium, a lot of these could be packed up and away by the time the game is over. so not to cause congestion on the way out of the ground at the end of the game.

When we arrived at the ground we walked past a small army of street sweepers and personnel. so while they're at work the bars could be setting off.

If it was Advertised as a Big "Fanzone" sort of thing it might just work, I'd get to the stadium earlier if they were going to have a large number of outlets outside so queueing would be easier than in some of the pubs in wembley town centre.

Too many fans seem to be interested in one thing only---at its not the rugby. Whether its outside the ground or inside, all some fans seem to be interested in is getting as much down their neck as possible therefore spoiling it for others who have to put up with the constant backwards and forwards of 'supporters' going to the toilet or getting more pints in.

Must have missed about 4/5 tries over the last few years with the procession in front of me.

DANNY LOCKWOOD - LEAGUE WEEKLY (18-5-09)

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

Obviously not had a chance to go to the new Wembley yet (this year maybe 8) ) but although it looks the dogs danglies, I'm certain they haven't done much about the surrounding area, so with this in mind, foooook it, let's all go to Cardiff.

The ones drinking too much are very much the minority and most fans just want a few drinks and to enjoy the occasion.

Wembley for the simple reason that I hated the locals when we were at MM.

Some cock asked my mates cousin (12) if he was english and when he said yes spat on him. This bloke must have been at least early 20s. And rugby fans get a bad name!

Talk about a chip on your shoulder!

how about a challenge cup semi final double header @ cardiff?

Feckem. We gave the WRFU and Wales Tourist Board their chance with Milennium Magic, they screwed us and we had to take it away from Cardiff a year early.

If they want another premier RL event, they should first demonstrate that they're up to it.
