IIRC back in the days when Super League were a concept, part of skys agreement to pump money in was that London HAD to have a team. now i dont know if this is still true but if it is, they're safe. the RFL wont bin Catalans as that would be totally against their expansion plans. however, as i stated earlier, if the RFL have an avenue to claw their loan money back from Crusaders than they maybe far from safe.

For me it's between Cas, wakey and fax then for the final spot. Gunna be a long wait now for them 3 teams.

I thought it was said the bloke with the money in London had put himself up for another 3 years, so you would think they're safe.

congratulations Widnes. Lets see some big signings, some big names. Build some momentum and excitement, Some ambition.

The pressure is on now. Widnes have an opportunity to build like no-one else in Britain has had. Lets see some ambition and achievement from them. Good Luck

Will they go straight in on minimum 8 club-trained, maximum 5 non-fed?

You'd think some latitude might be order to help then get up to speed.

It's the Superleague clubs that have been given "an opportunity to build like no-one else in Britain has had" and its only their inability to create a bullet proof case that allows a championship club to get a foot in the door.
