Corrected.

Incidentally, an exclamation mark ends a sentence and does not require a full stop. The first letter of the next word begins a new sentence and should therefore be capitalised. Who needs flankers' grammar was actually correct.

HTH.

Na, a better use for it would be Widnes next year. They will need all the help they can get to climb off the bottom of the league.

I actually don't think there is a smiley available on here that would even come close to representing his stupidness.

It will just be a programming decision in respect of maintaining the best critical path. This is the main stand and therefore has the most fit-out work required when they top-out. So topping out on the main stand first gets the follow-on subbies into the building and away, then the steel subbie can move onto the to erecting the steel and pre-cast terrace units for the rest of the stadium. It is usual for the steel subbie to erect the pre-cast terrace units as part of their package and as they go, so this also makes the stand look more 'finished' than in reality it actual is, as this part of the stadium will probably take the same time as finishing off the rest of the ground.

Funny because looking at the photo's I saw little continutiy for most trades.

£25m stadium being built with one crane and one cherry picker?

Netting up on the roof but no cladders?

Sommat not right there.

And yes, I have worked on them.

Has go slow written all over it.

These pictures have clearly been taken when the site is not working, either one evening or on a weekend. While the crane with the luffing jib is extended, along with cherry picker along side having it's basket parked at height, I don't think you have noticed the 50/75 tonne parked alongside folded down, or at least the three other cherry pickers also folded down.

The nets are up for 80% of the roof but the roof steelwork still needs completing at both ends, most probably done that way for temporary stability reasons as cantilever stadium roofs need some thinking about when it comes to erection sequence. Unless the programme dictated it why would you let the roof cladders start until the nets were 100% complete? I also suspect they will want to start at one end and come one way. Also, they might not actual start on the roof cladding for quite some time yet. Roof cladding is a quick operation and the subbie might not want to do multiple visits or risk catching the steelwork up, a possibility! A large proportion of the metal deck is in and it looks like some of concreted already.

It just looks like a decent project, early in the programme, on the go to me!

Mate you don't have a clue really do you, i work for one of the biggest construction firms in the country and this is how its done with every stadium using crane's and cherry pickers. Have you actually drove past the stadium on a week day? There's maybe 6 or 7 cherry pickers and normally 3 crane's working on there, when works finished the cherrys are stored at the back of the west stand, and the mobile crane's go back to the depot, theirs only one perminant heavy duty crane that is used for the lifting of the steel uprights and other heavy materials.

Yeah, massively slow, especially when you consider that it was just flat ground six weeks ago.
