This sintellins team........thrive on being underdogs.
It's a one off game, coming in at headingly as underdogs suits saints down to the ground.
I never read too much into the easter fixtures of certain team because you have derby games where form goes out of the window, then you have the tricky short turnaround for mondays game where teams do different things regarding squad rotation and managing the short gap.
It's really not uncommon to see top title winning teams losing both easter fixtures.
Normal service will be resumed this week, for this sintellins team.
I don't think 'the S' are as convincing as FlexWheeler is trying to present them (I suppose it is a lower-risk tactic than bigging up the club that you actually support) - they were wobbling even before the Easter results.
As a Leeds fan there is a big concern that Leeds don't seem to be able to handle the favourites tag very well when it comes to big games, especially in the Challenge Cup, but also in the play-offs when they went out with a whimper after finishing 3rd last year. I think secretly most Leeds fans do fancy them to win some silverware this year, but are wary of appearing silly by making such predictions on a messageboard (FlexWheeler included). At this stage they look every bit as good for the double as Saints - but of course a lot can happen over the course of a season, such is the unpredictability of sport.
Whether or not Leeds actually are favourites to beat Saints at this stage of the season is a pretty subjective question. Anyone who claims otherwise is deluded or has an agenda, however veiled they try to make it seem.

I fancy wigan as much as saints, but I can hardly start another thread ''this wigan team......''.
When you see a trophy winning team like wigan quietly going about their business, and then turning it on for the big games, it spells danger for everyone else. Beat leeds in a couple of weeks, win the game in hand they are top, despite (by their own fans admission probably) hardly hitting their straps.
That reaks of trophy winning material for this season.
Well sentellens are back on their perch at the top of the table after a devastating 48-18 win over london in a performance so perfect in every way it was like god himself created it.
Lol, if that's been the Pies or Loiners they'd have hit treble figures mate, our team is 2nd graders and kids and although we've improved in recent weeks, I'd have taken a mere 5 try margin before kick off.
On the plus side, what a turnout, on a Thursday against the worst supported top-flight club in RL History, well done to you guys for that, though you do need a better coach, he's the only one in SL we Londoners wouldn't swap TR for, lmao!

Flex is a loiner and I believe (hope) his statement was laced with more than announce of sarcasm!
Attendance did seem decent - but it was down ~500 from last year, which is a shame.
Can't help but admire the London teams spirit at the moment, they kept going no matter what.
Thats why those of us who have continued can't turn our backs on them now, last years lot, including the bunch now "doing so well" at other SL clubs just gave up, week in, week out, they were quitters, ......better players, true......but Quitters!
These kids play like they care, sadly they don't have the skill or experience to match, but we can't abandon them now.
Saints have done well but Giants have being average at best. They've also had a load of help they don't need by Silverwood though, no knock on by Roby then calls Brough's when it went no-where near his hand..he's a an absolute dog of a referee

Which all led to a reef that was given as a knock on - and when Wilkin repeats it's given as a knock on even though it went backwards.
Silverwood has been rubbish - but it's had absolutely no bearing on the score thus far.
