Apparanty Aiton an Agar signing was on a small wage as was Amor. Tim Smith, Justin Poore and Vince Mellors were on megabucks I'm told.
I suspect the Amor transfer paid Mellors off and Tim Smith money helped fill the gap.
As you know Wakefield problem was paying off some creditors but more importantly filling the financial black hole that stood between us and the next SL payment. Basically we have adjusted the books and should be in a position to field a moderately decent squad within budget.
I know Mellors was on 100k+ but it beggars belief what we must have been paying the other two for their departure to allow us to recruit so well.
I've not included Cockayne because I don't know what his deal was.
