Sad day, i feel for his family

I was truly shocked when I was told about this. For a lad to lose his life so young doing something he loved is very sad. I was choking up telling a family member about it.

All of a sudden the other threads and ramblings on this board and others seem very VERY insignificant.

RIP, was hoping earlier it wouldn't turn out to be so.

Proof if it were needed what a great umbrella RLFans.com is and no one should be surprised the heartfelt response from fans of numerous clubs and it does indeed put everything into perspective.

Not just RLfans but the whole rugby league community in general.

Yes, every RL Forum im a member on around the world has a thread with condolences coming in.

Yup, just looking through the facebook statuses of fellow rugby league fans tonight says it all, I think nearly everyone of them that has been updated tonight is in tribute to him.

You are not wrong, this is a tragedy which will be felt far and wide.

Sad sad news, thoughts with the family and Trinity from a Tiger

I found out last week l got made redundent, being feeling world is against me.......l feel so bad now.....this young man has lost his life...



l have gone up stairs to give my little boy an extra cuddle.....Leon, l never knew you but am sat at my computer crying my eyes out....

Not got kids myself but it is a real choker and hard to get your head round.

Awful news, RIP.

And its that kind of unity that makes our sport the best in the world...

Awful news. I had heard that the game had been called off and then I saw the breaking news on SSN. RIP Leon.

Wakefield must be cursed at the moment. Such a tragic loss.

Really got to me this, No one should die playing any sport.

my god this post has just made me lose it totally

A sad day for RL, sport and especially anyone connected to Wakefield Trinity after the deaths they have suffered recently.



For anyone to die at such a young age playing the sport they love and to entertain us fans is a cruel way to go.



My heartfelt sympathies go out to has poor family, friends and WTW.
