All I did was point out your mistake As it is, I have already said I was wrong to say League was not a big sport in the south island, but you continue to hark back to that. I actually said on a number of occassions that League has a massive opportunity to kick on in New Zealand and the fact that NZRU seem slow to react to threats would only help this growth, but you keep on harking back to posts I made before I properly researched the subject. Even looking at the new divisions:-

Northern Zone (North Harbour, Whangerai)
Auckland
Counties Manukau
Upper Central Zone (Bay of Plenty, Coastline, Gisborne, Waikato)
Mid Central Zone (Hawkes Bay, Manawatu, Taranaki, Wanganui)
Lower Central Zone (Wellington)
Southern Zone (Tasman, West Coast, Otago, Southland, Canterbury)

Almost every one of the areas I named is still included specifically...

Big win that one...

And when he did - google style like you - he came up with a list of 7 new regions (as of sometime in 2009) incorporating the very same areas I posted.
