So back to the question can Cas make top 4?
If we keep a injury list to a min, esp Sherwin, we have just as good chance as any other teams. But saying that I don't think we will make top 4.
A lot of teams and other fans are still disrespecting Cas in 2009. This is not the Cas team of 2008. We have made a number of changes and kept a good spine of the "capable" players of 2008.
Ryan McGoldrick Playing his Best. Exellent at joining attacking line from FB
Richard Owen Promising youngster, good finisher. Eng international?
Micheal Shenton Probably the best centre in SL. Me been Biased?
Kirk Dixon Dont know what to think about kirk.
Brent Sherwin Playing out of his skin. Cas different team without him.
Mitchell Sargent Absalute workhorse.
Craig Huby Another home grown. Startng to mature into a SL Player.
Liam Higgins As above.
Ryan Boyle As above.
Joe Westerman Rated 2nd best youngerster worldwide in 2008
The only player we should have kept who left was Luke Dorn (could have cover sherwin if injured).
Signings
James Evans Good defenisve player. Also shown he can finish
Rangi Chase Starting to come into his own, good partner for Sherwin
Ryan Hudson Controls the ruck well.. Welcome back Ryan
Kirk Netherton Good player to rotate with Hudson from bench
Brett Ferres Good all rounder
Stuart Jones Goes unnoticed...another workhorse
Sione Faumuina Capble to be a genius also capable of a libilty
Chris Feather Big strong runner
With a mixture of Youth and experiance in 2009 squad, Cas Tigers a a dark horse this year. I think we will finish 5/6th this year.
Leeds
St Helens
Hull FC
Wakefield
Cas
Huddersfield
Wigan
Quinns
Dam thats really hard to say this year, whos coming where.
Leeds, St's top. Celtic, Salford Bottom. Fight belween the rest.
Going to be closest SL season to date.
GL to all teams even more to the Tigers
