You really are thick as two short planks - you didn't understand any of that did you. It wasn't about Danny McGuire you two cent piece of pond life it was about players in general and how none of them deserve to be called "speed bumps" by guttless keyboard warriors like you.

Now crawl back under your stone and come back out when you're a man.

As an aside how old are you exactly, my ball park guess would be twelve. I need to know just so as I can find some excuse for you.

you really are a bitter old twit.

if a player cant tackle - an essential skill in RL - then being called a speed bump is the least of their concerns.

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Having watched the Eels v Raiders game the idea that every NRL game is notch up in intensity over the SL is a fallacy - this was a very ordinary game - which is typical of 50% of the NRL matches we see. Anyone who thinks ames like this have reater intensity than the Saints v Leeds ame of last week is simply deluded. Defences on both sides were shambolic - even Hindmarsh failed to prevent a try through a simple missed tackle on his own line.

As for the halves on both sides - it would impossible for McGuire to offer less than any of these four players. Finch his whole game plan was to hoof the ball the high as he could to the hapless Canberra full back who failed more often than not to catch it - so much for high level of basic technique in the NRL

Games like this are as far away from the intensity of a Brisbane v Storm as a lot of SL games.

You watched Hindmarsh's effort at stopping the the against the Raiders - that make him a speed bump too?

Anthony Whatmough missed 16 tackles in one half in the GF when the Storm turned the Eagles over - does that make him a speed bump too?

How are Cronulla going this season?

hindmarsh makes 50 tackles per game and hardly misses any

that comment shows how ignorant you are about the nrl and why i find your posts so amusing.

McGuire is way too inconsistent to be a starting halfback in the NRL, his defence is weak, and for Leeds he tends to not be the main decision maker because they also have Burrow and Sinfield. I do believe that if he had gone to the NRL a couple of yers agio he could have become a very very good stand off (or perhaps more likely scum half) because in flashes he has shown he has got the skills required. Unfortunately the 'half finished product' is probably what he will remain. As do almost all SL halfbacks.

The point is this - McGuire doesn't actually miss that many tackles but like Hindmarsh against Canberra he missed tackle that led to a try in the WCC - so all of a sudden he is a speed bump - as I said your knowledge is so limit as to be laughable.

Now when are you going to show us the half backs making 30 tackles a game regularly - oh no you can't because once again you were talking out of your backside
