We've got it all wrong!

Those aren't splodges of paint. They are camera flashes from the photographers who were so amazed at the brilliance of the kit that they couldn't resist on taking picture after picture! Underneath it's really nice.

this is Stade Francais 3rd kit , it's a tough call
on the flip side it could be a canny move , it a kit like that , you've have to go out & perform
