I'm not defending the crackpots that issued death threats but Ben Flower did instigate it.

Lets not forget that it's not the crackpots' fault Flower hit Hohaia. He should get a punishment for it too.

But I'm not excusing it in any way.

I'm glad it's up to the police and CPS to look into this and not you.

You should read the state of mind website before calling for people to be hung drawn and quartered.

Many, many, St. Helens fans (in fact ALL I've spoken to in person) have been very sensible about it. I read far more nonsense coming from over the Pennines. Of course, their standard is set by St. Kevin of Sinfield, so we should of course look to them for the sport's moral leadership.

Don't be silly mate, 99.9% of fans everywhere can see that the right outcome has been reached and that includes fans from both sides of the divide.Maybe this thread should be closed now,What else is to be said?, last thing we need is more childish club spats like on the Hardaker threads.

The 'death threats' aren't serious, just dumb kids posting 'oh he's a dead man' and 'his final days are approaching' then panicking and deleting their twitter accounts once they hear the Police are investigating.

Would be a bit daft if the people posting those get in trouble and Flower doesn't, when he's the culprit in all this.

Whilst we're on death threats, I wonder if the kid from Dominos in St Helens has met his end yet after being flooded with death threats from Gareth Hock and his Wigan cronies?

All this goes to show is that people should have to pass a test to be allowed access to social media. Flower did the crime, he's not paying his time and we should all move on from this now. Flower should go to rehab, Hock should go to school for an adult education class or two and we can all go back to admiring what a sensational performance it was from Luke Thompson at the weekend.
