Ive been there a number of times. Too many times, its a boring, dump of a place.


The fact is, when people go to Australia, they go to Sydney. They dont say "Oh I'm going to Australia to see Melbourne" because that takes all of five long boring minutes.

10,000 at the trial game in Perth last night. Not bad considering tickets were around $30+ and it was valentines night. Good start. Hopefully we can get nearer 15,000 for the real game in June.

presumably Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane are as well as they all get AFL crowds that better the majority of NRL clubs (or is Melbourne not having anything to do just a poor excuse?)

probably cos i found it to be the least australian city i visited in australia

when describing melbourne to family & friends i easiest way i find is to say melbourne is a cross between manchester & manhattan..
