The only tough one to call I think is Gateshead Vs Oldham, I think Oldham could beat Gateshead in this one.

The cups all about luck rather than form, just look at last season, FC were pathetic in the league but managed to get to Wembley.

neither of those 2 games will have any TV appeal.

both SL teams should win by at least 50 - who would watch?

the biggest potential shock is Batley -v- Salford.

OK. Money where mouth is time.

Does the AUP allow gambling?

I am not a normally a gambler but I have £50 here pal which says that Cas will NOT beat us by 50 points or more. Are you interested?

I'd go along with that as a Cas fan. Had it been drawn to be played at the shay I'd be mildly concerned about an upset (even though Cas current form is better away from home!) as it is I'd settle for a win by 20.

Realistically though the best chance for a real upset is Salford at Batley. If Salford win that comfortably it'll confirm there is a gulf between SL and the rest.

Not really. Batley are ordinary (as Halifax will prove this Thursday night by comfortably despatching them). Hunslet, from Championship 1 made them toil at the weekend.

I'll turn this on it's head - if Batley run Salford close - the only gulf that will show is the one that will exist between McRae and the Salford Board of Directors immediately after the game.

If Kevin Walters and Shane Perry were back in Australia by the next week or two, and Graham Murray, Michael Hagan or John Lang was Walters' replacement, then I would be predicting Huddersfield vs Les Catalans in the Cup Final.

Of course the Catalans team would have to include a fully fit Greenshields, Mogg, McGuire, Bosc, Ferriol and Fakir to win. Those are the six key players.

Heritage vs Expansion.

What poetry that would be!

I would predict a Wembley crowd of over 90,000, including Mr Roy Keane, Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodruigez Zapoatero, and President Nicolas Sarkozy.

That is a pretty uninspiring draw to be honest. I wanted to see Saints travel to either Hull KR, Cas or Hudds, instead they get a pretty straight forward tie against one of the weakest Super League times left in the comp.
The only hope now is that they draw one of them teams away in the 1/4 finals as I really cannot see St Helens losing on a natural ground.

Out of interest, does anywhere offer odds for the Cup minus Saints? Would be a lot more interesting to bet on!

Correct English is "one of those teams." You write English like an Aussie boofhead. Have a little pride in your culture by learning the English language please.

winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11
