manly are important to the nrl for their geographical area ie only club in the north of sydney, and they have a long way to go to reach their potential

you ignorant man you, you have a go about telling JB about Sydney RL.

Listen everyone, in case you listen to Dally.

The NSWRL clubs have their own RL districts. Not all of these clubs are in the first grade competition available to them ie. NRL. However there are clubs that have teams in all the other grades available to them. Balmain, Wests and Norths.

These RL Districts have set geographical areas.

So you know, as Dally doesn't. Manly's goes from Spit Bridge to Palm Beach (The Peninsular) and a little bit inland to places like Forestville, Belrose.

North Sydney RLFC's district goes from the Harbour Bridge to the Hawkesbury, ir borders Balmain's and even Parra's on it's western boundaries and then Newcastle's on it's north. It takes in suburbs like, Kirribilli, Mosman, then goes all the way up the Pacific Highway to Asquith and Hornsby, on the west it goes to places like Pennant Hills, Cherrybrook and Dural!!!

So please stop referring to the North Shore as Manly's. It isn't. Only someone who has no idea about footy would say such a thing.

He is a troll who is trying to take over where Barry McKenzie left off why do you let him get a reaction out of you?

It's obvious he known NOTHING about RL thats why he just posts links to things.

I wonder why they always mention the north shore and the northern beaches when manly play?

I know about districts, but these days it more or less has nothing to do with it unless you want to nit pick and point score.

NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......

Re: 2011 Season ticket sales : Mon Jan 24, 2011 11:16 am
lol at the whole "RL will lose the North shore" argument for having Manly. Yeh they are such a big draw card for the "whole" North shore they avg 13k people a game!

Brisbane has one team yet manages to remain a RL heartland. The insecurity and lack of faith in RL of people like Dally makes me laugh.

Dally can't really be expected to know these things JB so don't be too hard on him.

He has been saying Australia have lost the last two world cups over on another thread.

Thats almost as bad as eelsfan telling me that Wales almost knocked Australia out of the 1995 world cup when they didn't even play each other.

Peoples lack of knowledge about our sport is really quite frightening at times

But funny nonetheless
