SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
Talking of hypocrisy, I remember you bagging Leigh week in week out when they had a calamitous BOD. You think Derek Beaumont represents a better prospect?
As for Leigh's unpopularity, I am unable to find ONE SINGLE sympathetic post on social media today and it's mostly down to Derek Beaumont and a plethora of arrogant fans that have spewed nonsense for the last 12 months.
You reap what you sow.
It is the ' thug ' tag that i find the most annoying rich, weare no better or worse than anybody else, as for the arrogance, well that comes from being a country mile better than everybody else, wouldnt you say?

Can't argue with the point about Beaumont... he seems like a proper snide. But just purely looking at the table... Leigh finished with just one defeat pretty much romping the league. They defeated two SL sides and ran a third pretty close in a decent league run.
Do they not have some justification for feeling confident going into the middle 8's especially considering how bad Wakey have been and how unpredictable Salford and...**sighs** Widnes have been?

Of course we did, ultimatly unjustified, the SL clubs did their homework on us, and i have no doubt targeted us and raised their best against us, they saw us as a real threat, but thats sport, as Leeds and Saints are currently showing us, you need to find your best form at the right time, you need more than 1 option, 1 plan,
And yes it has ended poorly for us, but its been a great ride, to those arguing for a, 1 up, 1 down automatic system, no way, this has been great fun and i look forward to crossing swords next year with SLs not so finest, providing of course we qualify

Yes he does, Derek is a one off, i know him quite well, i used to work for his mum 25 years ago, it will be a roller coaster ride and eventually we could fall off, but ther'll be plenty of ups and downs along the way, just what sport is meant to be

Leigh have the worse disciplinary record this season. How else do you expect people to interpret the facts?

Obviously id argue that teams having failed to contain us legally have introduced ' niggle ' to try to put us off our game, something we have done to others in the past , we arent angels and have our share of idiots, i have been critical of some of our coaches tactics in the past
It seems our reputation, and some players reputation comes 1 st before anything else, today i dont really know what Gareth Hock was supposed to do when a player instead of taking a tackle throws himself on the floor? , notforgeting Hock himself had left the field for a busted nose early in the game for an unpunished high shot
It is what it is, a year or two it will be somebody elses turn to be the villans
Littlerich, if Hunslet had the worst disciplinary record in RL, do you think someone would start a thread on the Virtual Terrace ? Would they ****, a lot of folk on here just didn't like Leigh Centurions getting all the media coverage for a championship club...and of course winning nearly every league game. A lot of the trolls will be at it again next year, because they don't like a 'smalller club' making BIG noises. Now I know how Salford fans felt last couple of years. Personally I do not 'have a dig' at any other clubs on their own forums. Why do some folk on here have an 'orgasm' when Leigh get 'somebody sent off' or lose a game. Proper weird. Think I'll start trolling, who shall I choose ? Think I'll pick Halifax, because they finally managed to beat us, they are 'getting too big for their boots' !!!

if you really believe that the SL clubs raised their game to their best against Leigh then i'll have a pint of what you're on.
