he has clearly been having media training, he is sounding a lot more coherent and intelligent than ever before - but the hand thing is just annoying.

Hopefully his trainer will have seen the show and will beat it out of him before next week,

Some might look at this as being harsh but I think it's fair. When are the Rugby League going to stop persisting with this fantasy expansion. If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.

How bad was Dave Woods on this program? I had to cringe when he was taking the mick out of the French commentators and then couldn't even get the Cas try scorer right himself. Why the BBC employ and constantly use him I will never know.

I've noticed it too.

It's almost as obvious as the presenters 'look into the camera and then onto your collegue' trick on Sky.

who was the other guy doing the Wigan/Bradford commentary, he was worse...

he got 4 or 5 names wrong, including "Paul Deakin" and seems to think Amos Roberts is called Robert Amos. He also got Riddell and Paleasina mixed up (but that is more understandable!)

I'm watching the re-run of it now. He's like a gangster rapper.

It would be even better if he could chuck in some jazz hands.

Maybe he's got Mediterranean blood in him?

TBF he talks quite a bit of sense IMO.

Yes, especially his statement about the 0-0 at the Celtic v Saints game being the first 0-0 half time score in Super League.

Wasn't he at the KC in 2004 for Hull v Leeds?
