Life goes on.... : Fri Mar 27, 2009 9:56 pm
What a fantastic tribute to Leon tonight and then we have a Saints player dashing off for the birth of his child.

Oh how fate can play its hand at times.......

Best of luck to him and his partner.

Funny how life sometimes balances out. As we say goodby to one player we might be saying hello to another.

God bless Leon and his family and welcome to the world Junior Flannery - safe journies to all.

Proud to be a league fan tonight. Good luck and best wishes to Wakey for the rest of the year. Rivals yes, enemies never

Shows Rugby League has it's priorities right....remember Trevor Francis and a QPR player (I think it might have been Martin Allen) and the spat they had over him attending his child's birth.

Can not see many Premiership players leaving mid game and having the manager's consent.

Its all pre planned C sections to be fitted in between trips to Prada and work on the Milan catwalk for them. They are after all too posh to push. Real women have rugby playing partners.

I remember a cricketer been shown running out of headingly to his car to get to his wife's bedside as she'd gone into labour during the lunch break of a One Day International, Think it may have been Dominic Cork.

As for Last night, It was a great tribute to Leon, might not have been the result Wakey wanted, but at least it was a fair game and played in the spirit RL should be.
