I remember when I strained my foot earlier in the year and my dad parks in the Kirkstall sports centre and I have to walk up that big hill in order to get to Headingley stadium. Its something that I don’t want to experience again especially with cruches in each hand. How relieving it was when I got home and had a paracetamol.
Have you ever struggled that much to get to a rugby league match?
A friend of mine was unlucky enough to lose both his legs in a car smash.
Thankfully he survived.
Eventually he was fitted with prosthetic limbs and used to enjoy taking them off in the pub whilst drunk and trying to impress the sheilas.
Sadly for him a few of his drinking buddies decided to take them off him for a laugh an hour before Cronulla played the Roosters at the SFS and hid them behind the bar.
thinking the barman would tell him where they were they drunk up and headed to the game leaving him in the pub
Only he didn't
The poor guy had to drag himself from Surry Hills to the Stadium at Moore Park with no prosthetic limbs
