Superleague XVII : Wed Feb 01, 2012 12:28 pm
As the new season is upon us, I've been looking at some of the changes that have happened in Superleague since the start of last season. I'm guessing we've seen the biggest 'shakeup' from the clubs point of view since SL began:Bradford: More financially stable following the RFL purchase of Odsal.
Catalans: Ground improvements finished.
Hull: New owner promising big things, new coach/coaching setup.
Hull KR: New coach.
London: Completely re-branded back to the Broncos. Gone for 'make or break' with the spending on the squad.
Saints: New stadium.
Salford: New stadium & New coach.
Wakefield: New coach, new owner, stadium improvements.
Warrington: Ground Improvements (corners).
Widnes: Widnes in/Crusaders out. Much more financially stable and will draw higher crowds.
Wigan: New coach.
There's probably more I've missed too. Very pleased to see the new stadiums/improvements made, with Cas, Wakey and Rovers all with plans for new stadiums/stands.
I think it sets it up for a very interesting SL season.
