How are you adapting to LSV , do you miss Hilton park at all ?

Really like LSV now. Hilton Park holds some great memories, but LSV is much more comfortable (roof on the toilets, for example!) and atmospheric. It is nicely enclosed, so that you are near to the pitch. The floodlights are much better too - we don't have to rely on a diesel generator to power them up.

The downside is, that we don't own the stadium - it's mainly council owned, although we have a share of the ownership. Consequently, we make very little from food/drink sales, and the owners get a share of our 'gate' money. Currently, Man Utd. under 23's and their ladies' team, play their home matches there. Yet the pitch remains perfect.

Happy days! Hopefully, we can build a team to match the facilities!

I take it you are a HKR fan? I'd forgotten he played for you guys. Weren't we winning that match, about 26-6 at half time, and you went on to score about 30 unanswered points in the second half? :( Well done on avoiding the drop, this season. It got a bit tight at the bottom of SL, didn't it?!

Glad to hear you like it mate, on Chisholm yes you were well in control in that match and we clawed our way back into it with Chisholms intercept , on this season yes really tight at the end but funnily enough I had resigned to the consequence of relegation and saw the positives of playing in what is a quality championship with some very good sides in it and also us going to give some good young talented players a go, good luck next season mate.

Hey, don't knock it. Some of the topics on here could do with a bit more of the bonhomie that we usually associate with Rugby League fans!

Fev will miss him...even though they've signed Craig Hall who was our full back at Leigh (not a winger like at HKR)

James Gavet - Newcastle Knights to Huddersfield Giants

Decent forward but had his fair share of injuries which has prevented him playing consistently. Good laugh on Instagram as well!
