The commentary is dreadful. What was it Phil Clarke said when Jesse Sene apologised to Smithies. Something like hes only apologising so he gets less games at the disciplinary. Utterly bizarre thing to say.
That had me shouting at the screen, his Wigan bias slipping out.
amen, listening tonight you could be forgiven for thinking Hardaker used to play for Cas and Trueman had a decent game last week (but he was bang average tonight, whichnthey didn't mention)
I don’t get this comment, those things are all factual and not Sky drivel?
Lenegan has mentioned in the matchday program tonight that Wigan will lose around 50k in revenue because of Sky switching the game to Thursday.
The sooner Thursday games are scrapped, the better.
As a tv viewer I like the Thursday games, as a home fan I don’t like them.
However, Sky are paying £2m to Wigan and every other club so they deserve a say in when the games should be televised. The Wigan chairman agreed to the Sky tv deal so he shouldn’t grumble too much.

At the risk of going off topic, Cas's backs are woeful. Ellis, Clare, Minikin, Rankin are Championship standard. Blair so far is a waste of money.
Minikin has been pretty good over your purple patch this last few years, i was surprised you were releasing him. Rankin looks ok lately but was hit or miss at hull and huddersfield, i think centre is his best position.
Clare playing is a weird one, i recall you mixing and matching with him and hitchcox a while back as reserve wingers, i was surprised he was still with you.

Minikin is just not big enough, or tough enough, for SL. The try he let in by failing to clear the ball just smacked of not wanting to put his body on the line. Rankin is a journeyman who would do as back up if we had a quality back line. Clare, I was disappointed when we first let him go, but he is just too nice for SL. He lacks the physicality required.
The fans, the members, the people there.. from the day I stepped foot onto that field at the AJ Bell Stadium,I knew I would love that club for the rest of my life. "Jackson Hastings"..

One likes people much better when they're battered down by a prodigious siege of misfortune than when they triumph.
I was hoping for a Cas win last night so we had a chance of Runners Up tonight, but they were awful went down without a wimper. Not sure if Wigan were bad or just had literally nothing to beat.
I just hope Hull can do us a favour tonight and beat Saints - put us out of our misery! The only good thing about last night, for me, was the M62 was clear after the game so I got home quick.

Yes, a win for Saints is just delaying the inevitable.
