Tui nominated for International Golden Boot Award.Playing against the worlds best players, deserves it after his nightmare at Leeds, playing for top coaches has made his season.
There were some good reasons it didn't work at Leeds, and some bad ones as well.
On his part, he looked unfit, he shirked tackles and he didn't look interested from an early stage (the try he scored at Wakefield was a fluke that only came about because he bottled the tackle).
On Leeds' part, he was a square peg in a round hole. He was never a player that was going to compliment (or be complimented by) Myler in the halves.
Fair play to the guy - he's kicked on since moving.

Maybe Lolohea was told at an early stage at Leeds that he was no longer required just like many of the other players who have been shipped out. He may well have thought knac£ers to you all why should I bother. Saying that not what you would expect from a RL professional but may have been a reason he was so bad at Leeds.

Lolohea plays well when he's happy. He's a player I've watched ever since he came through the Warriors and onward. When he's happy and confident he's a great player. For whatever reason, it didn't work at Leeds. Some clubs suit certain players. There's loads of players that have moved on from clubs and transformed. That's team sports for you.
Watson's style of coaching suits Tui. He has confidence again and it shows.
